I am now a Mental Health and Wellbeing Coach for N.O.W.S. (National Online Wellbeing Services), facilitating resilience and wellbeing programmes through referrals from the NHS, CAMHS, and the Crisis Team. In this role, I support young people and their families using a person-centered, strengths-based approach, helping them identify practical steps to improve their mental health, emotional resilience, and overall quality of life. A core part of my current work involves assessment and triage, where I work with individuals to understand their presenting needs, identify priorities, and establish the most appropriate support pathway. This includes exploring emotional wellbeing, lifestyle factors, family circumstances, and any barriers impacting progress.
Believe me when I tell you that I know what it’s like to be you, because I was you!
I felt overwhelmed and lost with no idea of what I needed to do to create the life I desired. It was from this place of feeling disempowered that I found an opportunity for expansion and growth.
I made a conscious decision to tune inward and trust my intuition. I chose to use my experience in both my divorce and my abusive relationship to be of service to women in the same situation that I was in.
